The Hawaii College ID Camp coaches dinner last year.

We're truly blessed to have great coaches come and train and recruit the Hawaii players.  That is why we go above and beyond to make the coaches feel and enjoy the Aloha of our State.  The Coaches have stated that this is the Best camp they have been a part of.  This is why they want to come back and be part of the Best Camp that Hawaii has to offer.  We invest in so much equipment for the coaches to run a great training session for our camp members.  Nothing done cheap here.  Everything we do have a purpose and our purpose is the kids of Hawaii.  Saving Thousands of dollars for our Hawaii players.

How did the Hawaii College I.D. Camp Help Shaye Villanueva

My whole life, I've dreamed of playing college soccer. I ran with that all the up till the summer before my junior year of high school when I tore my ACL. Typically being 9 months of recovery, my case was different as it took me almost a whole year to return to full contact with the limitation of a knee brace. My hope slowly dwindled as I realized my skill level was no where near where I was prior to the injury and in comparison to other girls. Senior year started as well as the college application process. Some lucky athletes only had to fill out one app as they transferred their verbal commitment to a written one, but I, on the other hand, went on with filling out 5 apps for scholarly purposes. I could feel the dream of collegiate soccer slipping through my fingers as each day passed. 2014 came around and still no offers were on my table, until I was given an last chance opportunity to participate in a Hawaii College ID Camp. Truthfully, I went into the camp without any expectations; didn't think I was going to get looked at or get any offers of any sort. The camp was very well organized as each station had a different set of coaches from various schools across the nation. There were lots of young girls with the tenacity of playing at the next level, making the competition fierce and exciting. The camp ended and I walked out with offers from 2 amazing Pac12 schools. This news was shocking to me as I went from 0 offers (and large amounts of stress) to 2 offers from terrific schools! As you probably know, I made the amazing decision to attend the University of Washington and become a Husky. This camp helped me open the gates to the future of my soccer career and I will forever be grateful for that. Friendly reminder to never give up on your dreams. If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough.
